FAUX PANELS - Touch-Up Kit Paint Guide

TIPS & SUGGESTIONS

     1. Prep the Area: Ensure the surfaces to be retouched are clean and free of dust or debris.

     2. Drying Time: Make sure any caulk or grout is completely dry before applying paint.

     3. Shake Well: Shake each paint jar thoroughly before use, especially the Wash, which is thinner than the other paints.

     4. Timing with Wash: Avoid leaving the Wash on for too long, as it can significantlly darken the colors.

     5. Layering: Keep in mind that multiple coats of Wash will make the colors appear darker.

     6. Gather Supplies: Have all your tools ready - brushes, sponges, rags, etc. - before starting.

     7. Precision Painting: For small areas, consider using a smaller brush instead of a rag or larger brush.

     8. Drying Between Coats: Allow Accent Colors, Base, and Wash to dry completely before applying additional coats.

     9. Grout Line Application: When retouching grout lines, use a brush that matches the width of the grout line for best results.
